Wanda Wuhan Movie Park Attractions

Daren served as Creative Director for Forrec on two custom theme park attractions ultimately opened at Wanda Wuhan Movie Park in China. Power of Nature is a periling journey into the eye of the storm of the century and Ultimate Energy places guests at the center of the battle between humanity and a Mech army.

Daren led the creative through Concept and early Schematic and the attractions were built and opened by Forrec, iTech with the Energy film produced by Industrial Light and Magic. Attraction exteriors and interiors along with all signage, props, costumes, media and pre-shows were concepted and later executed almost as originally designed. A custom theater was designed for Energy featuring animatronics, a large 3D immersive screen, moving seats, and live performers. For Nature a simulator ride format was created that had not been seen before. Complete scripts and storyboards were created to convey all story elements and were embraced by the client.
