"Monster Ice Cream". Enough said really. This incredible concept was created originally by Wētā Workshop in New Zealand as a themed ice cream parlor where the ice cream is shaped like and served by monsters.
As part of Daren's owner/operator venture Allureum, a partnership was formed to further develop the story, content, layout, scenic, media, and food program for Scary Dairy which includes an interactive "build-a-bear" style experience wherein step-by-step guests manipulate Dr. Frankenstein-like devices that influence their final ice cream creations (which are assembled on the fly back of house) that are magically revealed and presented at the end of the experience. A gift store features Dairy items as well as Wētā Workshop's creations.
